FLEET AND NETWORK
ITA Airways' fleet consists of modern, environmentally friendly aircrafts that feature state-of-the-art technologies to ensure the efficiency and quality of our services and a significant reduction in environmental impact.
The latest flagship, the Airbus A330-900s of which 6 are now included in the fleet, will certainly contribute to this, as will the Airbus A350-900. These aircraft are 70% lighter thanks to new materials, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 25%.
The total fleet currently consists of 66 aircraft. In 2023, 32 new-generation aircraft will be added to the fleet; 8 wide-body (A330-900) and 24 narrow-body aircraft (A321neo, A320neo and A220).
This fleet expansion is a further step towards ITA Airways' growth strategy, which will lead to the company becoming the greenest airline in Europe by 2026, with 80% of its fleet made up of new generation aircraft, consequently reducing 1.3 million tonnes of CO2.
ITA Airways' 2023 summer season includes 64 destinations, including 21 domestic, 33 international, and 10 intercontinental.
ITA Airways operates 3 daily flights from Amsterdam to Milan Linate and 2 daily flights from Amsterdam to Rome Fiumicino.
San Francisco and Washington DC have been added to the network, and at the end of October 2023, Rio de Janeiro will be included.
From Amsterdam, ITA Airways has seamless connections to Northern and Southern Italy, as well as Sardinia, Sicily, and Northern Africa (Algiers, Tunis, Egypt. As well as daily flights connecting to Argentina, and Brazil.
